Refunds and cancellations

Eligibility

A refund is possible only for a seat we have confirmed in writing or by telephone, and for which we have received tuition or a deposit. A contact-form request with no confirmation is not a paid booking and needs no refund.

Timeframe

Write to studio@utilityroutefield.click or call (02)2154543 at least seven full days before the first classroom hour of a workshop or lab, or at least forty-eight hours before a private review. Requests inside those windows are treated as late cancellations.

Full refund

If you cancel within the timeframe above, and the session has not started, we refund the tuition we hold, minus a 500 THB desk fee for bank charges and packet printing already ordered for your name.

Partial refund

If you cancel after the timeframe but before the session starts, we refund 50% of tuition received. If day one of a two-day workshop has begun, the remaining day is not refunded, because the packet and the seat were used.

Non-refundable items

Printed chart packets once handed to you, tea service, and the 500 THB desk fee on otherwise full refunds are not returned. Private-review hours that have already been held are not refunded.

Process

Send the confirmation note, your name, and the session date. We reply within five working days with the amount we can return. Refunds go back by the same bank transfer method you used to pay, within ten working days after we agree the amount. We do not reverse cash paid at the desk into an online channel, because this site has no checkout.

Cancellation by the Institute

If we cancel a sitting (instructor illness, room closure), you may move to the next equivalent date or receive a full refund of tuition received, including any deposit, with no desk fee.

Rescheduling

You may move once to a later published sitting of the same offering if you ask before the seven-day (workshop/lab) or forty-eight-hour (review) cut-off and if a seat exists. A second move is treated as a late cancellation.

Deposits

When we ask for a deposit to hold a two-day workshop seat, that deposit is part of tuition. It follows the same full/partial rules. We do not take deposits through the website.

No-shows

If you do not attend and did not cancel, tuition is forfeited. We may, at the desk’s discretion, offer a later Saturday drill seat for the leftover packet; that is a courtesy, not a right.

Work already started

Once a session hour has begun, that hour is delivered. Walking out early does not create a refund for unused minutes.

Purchased materials

You do not buy extra kits through this site. If a packet was printed for you and you cancel late, we keep the packet cost inside the partial-refund calculation rather than posting unused paper.

Exceptions

Documented hospital admission or a death in the immediate family may be treated as a timely cancellation if you write within seven days after the missed session. We may ask for a simple supporting note. We do not refund because a market moved against a practice chart.
